FAR (First Aid Response) training -3 days: 12th, 19th & 26th November 2018

What is FAR? First Aid Response or FAR is PHECC’s newest education and training standard replacing Occupational First Aid QQI Level 5. It’s a foundation first aid course that trains participants to provide first aid for a person who becomes suddenly unwell or injured until the arrival of emergency medical services. FAR includes the full Cardiac First Response Community standard.   All courses are available as an in-house training option.

Paediatric First Aid – 21st July 2018

Paediatric First Aid is a one day training course. Our practical training is suitable for anyone with children in their care, from professional childcare workers to parents and grandparents. Certification is from our OFAAA and PHECC registered trainer and valid for 2 years. All courses are available as an in-house training option.

Paediatric First Aid – Galway

Our one day certified Paediatric First Aid Training is suitable for anyone with children in their care, from professional childcare workers to parents and grandparents. All participants receive a free Paediatric First Aid handbook and a Childcare First Aid Certificate which is valid for 2 years. Course content includes the following: Infant / Child CPR Infant / Child Choking Infant / Child Recovery Position Allergy Awareness Recognition and Treatment of various injuries and illnesses. Spaces are strictly limited to 15 to allow each person time to go through the different protocols on the various sized manikins ( you will practise on infant, junior and adult sized manikins). This course is delivered by a fully experienced and qualified OFAAA registered trainer ensuring your training meets current HSE standards.
