Paediatric First Aid – Galway

A perfect Christmas gift for the parent or child who has everything!

Our one day certified Paediatric First Aid Training is suitable for anyone with children in their care, from professional childcare workers to parents and grandparents. All participants receive a free Paediatric First Aid handbook and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate which is valid for 2 years.

Course content for “First Aid for Children” includes the following:

Infant / Child CPR
Infant / Child Choking
Infant / Child Recovery Position
Allergy Awareness
Recognition and Treatment of various injuries and illnesses.

Spaces are strictly limited to 15 to allow each person time to go through the different Paediatric First Aid protocols on the various sized manikins (you will practise on infant, junior and adult sized manikins). The training is quite practical using both the manikins and course participants, with their permission! This First Aid for childcare course is delivered by a fully experienced and qualified OFAAA registered trainer ensuring your training meets current HSE/Tusla standards for “First Aid for Children”.
