Paediatric First Aid

Our Paediatric First Aid course is run over one day, and participants will receive a Childcare First Aid Certificate which is valid for 2 years. Our fully qualified and experienced instructors are current or retired emergency service professionals, who bring a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to the course.

Course content includes the following:

Accident Scene Safety and Management
Infection Control
Infant / Child CPR
Infant / Child Choking
Infant / Child Recovery Position
Recognition and Treatment of various injuries and management of various illnesses.

This Paediatric First Aid course is designed for the professional childcare worker as well as parents, grandparents and anyone with children in their care, teachers, coaches etc. Training is delivered by our OFAAA registered trainers and to Tusla and HSE standards meeting the “First Aid for Children” requirements.
