Paediatric First Aid, Galway, 5/10/19

Our Paediatric First Aid course is run over one day and is suitable for professional childcare workers and anyone with children in their care. Training is provided by our PHECC registered, fully qualified and experienced instructors and they bring a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to the course.

We offer a hands-on practical training course with a range of different sized manikins: infant, child and junior. You will learn CPR for infant, child and adult.

In addition we will also teach you how to recognise and treat a range of First Aid situations such as:

Bleeding (External and Internal)
Shock
Allergic Reactions
Broken Bones
Head Injury
Soft Tissue Injury
Burns
Poisoning
Meningitis
Fainting
Seizures
Diabetes
Asthma
Diabetes

Participants receive a Childcare First Aid Certificate which is valid for 2 years.

For those professional Childcare workers, new legislation requires at least one member of staff holds First Aid Response training as certified by PHECC. We also offer this is 3 day training . Please get in touch for more information.
