Paediatric First Aid – 21st July 2018

Our one day certified Paediatric First Aid Training is suitable for anyone with children in their care, from professional childcare workers to parents and grandparents. Each person attending receives a certificate which is valid for 2 years and a free Paediatric First Aid handbook.

Course content for “First Aid for Children” includes the following:

Infant / Child CPR
Infant / Child Choking
Infant / Child Recovery Position
Allergy Awareness
Recognition and Treatment of various injuries and illnesses.

Class size is limited to 15 for your comfort whilst you work through the Paediatric First Aid protocols. Training is delivered with a mix of styles: DVD presentations and practical exercies. We provide a range of different sized manikins (you will practise on infant, junior and adult sized manikins). Our training is practical and hands-on, using both the manikins and course participants, with their permission!

This “First Aid for Children” training is delivered by a fully experienced and qualified OFAAA registered trainer and PHECC (Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council) and is perfect to assist the First Aid Responder.
