Health & Safety – Health & Safety Services

Safety Statements

Under the Safety, Health & Welfare At Work Act, 1989, all employers and self-employed must now have a written Safety Statement for workplaces under their control, based on an identification of all workplace hazards and assessment of the risk. HR Connections can prepare your Safety Statement based on a written identification of the hazards in your workplace, and an assessment of the risk presented by those hazards. The Safety Statement will also contain guidance as to safe work systems and practices.

VDU ⁄ Workstation Assessments

Our VDU Assessment Courses are aimed at meeting the legal requirements that apply to Visual Display Systems (VDUs) in the workplace. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations, 2007, require employers to analyse VDU workstations and work environments to assess the risks to the health and safety of users, and to reduce these risks to the lowest possible level.

VDU Workstation Assessment

Our qualified consultant will visit your premises to carry out an ergonomic assessment of your VDU Workstations, and provide you with recommendations to help you adhere to the VDU regulations.

VDU Workstation Assessors Course – 1 Day

Our comprehensive one-day course is aimed at employers who wish to carry out their own VDU Workstation Assessments, and is delivered in your own premises so that the content can be tailored to suit your business.
